
Warranty & After Sales
WARRANTY
With equipment and parts manufactured for and on behalf of Adverc BM Ltd, the company guarantees it's products, in normal use, to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 1 to 2 years, depending on the equipment (details available upon request) or unless otherwise stated.
In respect of other equipment not produced by Adverc BM Ltd, the warranty as set out in the manufacturers' appropriate terms and conditions will operate in place of all other warranties, conditions or liabilities expressed or implied by law, all of which are hereby expressly excluded.
The company will, at the request of the customer, use its reasonable endeavours to give the customer the benefit of any such warranty; the customer agrees to be responsible for ensuring that the goods are suitable for the purpose he, or his customer, has or is likely to have in mind.
Goods returned under these warranty conditions will be tested on the manufacturer's equipment and to their specification, where applicable.
In all cases no warranty shall apply when goods are retained in poor or damaged condition, have been tampered with, or where seals are broken, where they are obsolete or have been subject to excessive wear or misuse.
We do not accept any consequemtial cost for the return of goods.
AFTER SALES SERVICE
Notwithstanding our warranty conditions, we try wherever possible to rectify any problems you may have with the parts or equipment we have provided.
We offer a full repair service on our own manufactured products, whatever the age, unless they are obsolete.
These are all priced at very competative rates and our customers have always made full use of this service - the oldest part repaired to date is circa 1990!
We also try to offer a similar service on other products, i.e., alternators, chargers, etc, wherever possible if this service is requested.
Whilst we have a standard charge rate for most of our repairs, these can only be confirmed once we have examined the returned goods.
On all returns we charge any carriage applicable to return the goods to you the customer even if our examination proves the part(s) are still in good working order.
